The volume meter on my first generation ipod touch is malfunctioning?

I know on my Nano I can do a reset if something like this happens. I don't have an Ipod Touch, so I don't know if this is applicable, but if you can reset it, give it a try! Is the game Apple certified? If not, it's more than likely the game. Sorry!
