Coolant leaking while engine is off?

I have a 1994 Astro that has coolant leaking out on the penger side somewhere above the starter almost as fast as I can pour it into the radiator. This is happening while the engine is cool and not running. Also happens when it is running. I am thinking it is a freeze plug leaking. I don't really have the extra money for a pressure test. Just looking for some helpful ideas before I start trying to track down the problem.
