Is Osirius the God of the Dead or the Nile (Ancient Egypt)?

I have to him for a crossword puzzle im doing for cl I'm not even sure he is the god of the dead My textbook says Nile my sources say death and wikipedia says the god of the afterlife (and then it says or underworld or dead) and Anubis is the god of the dead and judgement I'm very confused and need help from an expert and isn't Anubis also the god of mummification and embaling and I'm not sure but I think they're are both gods of death! HELPP!
