What does it mean if a guy asks you to keep his shirt?

My girlfriend asked for one of my shirts to take home with her. She told me she likes to sleep with it because it lets her imagine me there with her. I think that is so sweet and I don't want the shirt back unless I'm the one replacing it : ) I would say it is a great sign that he wants you to keep it.
