Should my family visit my mom in the hospital or later.?

My mother is getting her knees replaced and will be in the hospital for 4 days total. The hospital is 3 hours away from where I live with my wife and twin toddlers (her only current grandkids). My dad, 2 sisters, and 1 brother will most likely visit her but I am not sure if I should bring my family and daughters to see her. I know she loves seeing her granddaughters but they are 2 1/2 years old and can be quite a distraction. If we dont see her in the hosptial we would see her when she gets home. What is your suggestion? Thanks.
