Is this a good introduction paragraph ! (short)?

you don't mean "repugnant." There's a difference between affect and effect--you should learn it. The phrase "...tends to portray a superficial communication" doesn't make sense. Your essay reads like you're stretching to use vocabulary words. There are very few shortcuts to poor writing more direct than using words you think sound impressive incorrectly. Stay within yourself--there's not a teacher in the world who will reward you for misusing words but all of them will reward you for writing clearly.
