Is ok to re-freeze turkey?

I got a turkey from my mom that is one of the already cooked kinds. It was thawed when she gave it to me, and when I took it home, i stuck it in the freezer. I would like to take it out, thaw it, and cut it in to smaller proportions, but would it be ok to re-freeze the other pieces?
